A small studio with a simple promise: your plants stay alive
Fernwood is a boutique indoor-plant studio on Stikliu g. 8. We pick the plant for your light, pot it in handmade ceramic, show you how to care for it — and take it back in for repotting or the plant doctor when it needs us.
A plant shop that stays involved after you carry the pot home
Fernwood began as one shelf of cuttings in a flat with three north-facing windows — the hardest light there is. Everything we sell has to earn its place on that shelf first.
Today the studio on Stikliu g. 8 holds a curated wall of houseplants, handmade ceramic pots thrown by Lithuanian makers, and plant-care kits we put together ourselves. We ask about your windows before we sell you anything, and we would rather talk you out of a fiddle-leaf fig than watch it drop its leaves in a dim hallway.
Beyond the shop we run beginner and advanced plant-care workshops, repot anything that has outgrown its container, keep a plant doctor on hand for the rescues, and green-scape small offices across Vilnius.

Matched to your light
We pick the plant for the window you actually have, not the one in the photograph.
-
Potted by hand
Handmade ceramic pots and a care kit, so the plant leaves the studio ready to live.
-
Taught, then looked after
Workshops, repotting and a plant doctor — bring it back in whenever it struggles.
Four people, one shelf of plants each of us refuses to give up on
Everyone at Fernwood works the shop floor as well as their own corner of the studio, so whoever is in on the day can answer for the plant you carry home.

Tell us about your window and we will tell you what will thrive in it
Workshop places, a repotting slot, a plant that is dropping leaves, or greenery for a small office — write to us and we answer from the studio bench, usually the same opening day.
